Chris Prefontaine

Chris has been in real estate for 30+ years. Experience during that time includes the construction of over 100+ single family homes (1990’s), owner/broker of a Realty Executives Franchise (Massachusetts 1994-2000) which eventually sold to Coldwell Banker in 2000. The 2000’s included coaching people throughout US and Canada and doing condo conversions (multi family homes to condos) and “raise the roof” projects (converting single family ranches to colonials in growth neighborhoods).

Chris saw a gap in the industry after experiencing the 2008 real estate crash and that GAP was to help buyers and sellers, especially where banks cannot or criteria is just too restrictive. The team currently focusses on purchasing homes via Lease/Purchase or Owner financing with sellers and helping buyers gain the time they need for credit enhancement, mortgage qualifying seasoning or down payment or reserves build up. The team believes in win/win relationships and strives to structure deals with seller and with buyers that achieves that.
